Kiwanis and Big Brothers Big Sisters
"Serving the children of the world" is our Kiwanis motto. "Improving the world one child and one community at a time" is our mission. On the local level, supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks (BBBSSADK) is a perfect way for members to fulfill that motto and mission. For 51 years, BBBSSADK has provided area children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Your donations to this team fundraising page, or the fundraising pages of our team's individual bowlers, go directly to BBBSSADK programs and services. Just click on the "Donate Now" link for a team donation, or click on one of our team bowlers and donate on their page. It's easy, safe and secure - and will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Glens Falls Kiwanis - Our Team
Our bowling team is comprised mainly of club members, friends and family who are terrible bowlers. We do recruit a few ringers from time to time, but gutter balls usually outnumber strikes and spares. Scores are not important at all. No one cares about bowling proficiency. It's all about having fun, enjoying some food and libations, particpating in raffles and other festivities - and raising funds. Over the past 16 years, our Kiwanis teams have raised over $96,000 for BBBSSADK. Members, friends and family can help by bowling and fundraising, supporting our bowlers with donations, cheering on our team or becoming event sponsors.
Glens Falls Kiwanis bowls:
SUNDAY, MARCH 15 at 12:30PM
KINGPIN'S ALLEY, ROUTE 9, SOUTH GLENS FALLS
Last year, GF Kiwanis had a terrific turnout at Bowl For Kids' Sake. 24 members participated. We had 16 bowlers, 10 of whom were members, and another 14 cheerleaders and supporters. We turned the event into a club social and party, so let's do it again in 2026.
We need members, friends and family to bowl and fundraise, as well as cheerleaders, sponsors and supporters. If you would like to field a team of your own, please recruit and bowl as part of our GF Kiwanis group. Last year we reserved and filled 4 lanes. Let's try for 5 or 6 lanes in 2026. Last year we raised $9465, and since 2010 we have raised $96,429. The $100,000 threshold awaits!
I will contact the non-member bowlers from 2025. The Kiwanis Team webpage is up and running:
You can register to bowl free of charge on this page, or register with a donation if you wish. Members and supporters are encouraged to make a team donation on this page. Or you can click on a specific bowler and donate on their page.
The BFKS home page has links for paper pledge forms, sponsorship forms and fundraising tips.
Please save the date and time.
